WARNING - HERBS DO BURN
Please note, because your candle is infused with herbs, you must watch them at all times when burning them, because the herbs can burn and cause a fire to your tin or glass (whichever vessel your candle came in); thus causing a fire. You should watch any burning candle at all times; however, you must watch our candles; especially once the wax is low and towards the bottom.
What are the payment options?
We accept credit cards and Paypal payments.
Do you take custom orders?
We only offer custom candle orders for quantities of 30+ candles. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions regarding custom candle orders.
What is your refund/return policy?
Unfortunately, After Effex Co. does not currently accept returns on items once an order has been processed or moved to fulfilled status. Orders are typically processed/fulfilled within 24 hours of the order being placed. While we know it is extremely difficult to know if you'll enjoy an item without seeing it in person, but please consider gifting your item to a friend or someone you think would enjoy it.
If your item is lost during transit, please get in contact with us at email@example.com with details and we will file a claim to get you a replacement item sent asap! If for any reason your package is returned to us, you will be responsible for the cost to reship the package. The reshipping administrative fee is $15 per package returned. You will be sent a separate invoice via email for any costs associated with reshipping and all balances must be paid immediately and before any item is reshipped.
What is your shipping & delivering policy? (i.e. When will I receive my order?)
Orders are processed 1-3 business days after placing an order and depending on the shipping option you choose, at the time of checkout, your package can take 1-14 days to be delivered. If you have any questions about your order status, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and we will be happy to assist you.
Do you wholesale your products?
Yes, our products are available for wholesale! There is a minimum $500 inventory purchase. To become a wholesale buyer you must apply for a wholesale account. Please contact us at email@example.com for an application.
Why does my candle look like that?
Do you see what appears to be blotchy or a "gaps" between the wax and the glass, or white speckling on the edge of the candle? You're seeing what is called "frosting" or "spotting" and these are totally normal characteristics of handmade and hand-poured soy wax candles. The frosting is usually a really good indicator that the wax is truly 100% soy wax). Frosting and spotting occur when candles are exposed to extreme temperature changes. We wouldn't intentionally send out a candle with major frosting or spotting, but we have no control over what occurs in transit. Because we can't control Mother Nature or shipping environments, we are unable to replace candles that have frosted or spotted in transit.
No need to worry though, think of it as a unique characteristic of being handmade and hand-poured with 100% soy wax and it will in no way affect how your candles burn!
